Mrs. G. Lalitha - Founder of The New Life Charitable Trust started
the home with their limited source of income. The spurge and steady
flow in the number of people to whom it has come to be a home.
All the old people have no income from any quarter and none to
take care of them and they are more than 70 years young at heart.
The New Life Charitable Trust has a meagre Corpus Fund, and faces
hardship for its daily operations in providing basic meals.
KITCHEN CUM DINING HALL
Presently our Kitchen cum Dining Hall for the 110 inmates is running
under thatched roof house, which was to be dismantled till March
2006 as per Government's Notification after the Kumbakonam Fire
Tragedy. The project is under full swing and an estimated cost is as under. (Photographs of work in progress)
