CORPUS/CAPITAL RESOURCES

The New Life Charitable Trust could not built any Corpus / Capital fund as the money generated through donations is always short in providing a basic meals three times a day, clothes and thatched roof in mud house coupled with our care and love for inmates which have been growing in numbers over the last 15 years. The organisation functioned smoothly only with the day-to-day donations received. We at The New Life extend our sincere thanks for the help rendered so far in keeping the hopes alive and giving a smile on the faces. There are probably many in need of these love. We would appreciate your continued and rejuvenated efforts in rendering this support in forthcoming years.

The New Life Charitable Trust extends the cosy smile for helping us in building a Corpus Funds, that shall helps a long way in mitigating day to day hardship faced, many a untold miseries of the inmates that hide behind their smiles. We have taken a pledge to eradicate a crying face, your effort in terms of monetary help, food grain donation, essential medical supplies would more than be appreciated. Helps us in sustenance of the inmates by sponsoring or creation of Permanent Endowment where we invest the donation amount in Fixed Deposit with our Banker, Corporation Bank, East Tambram which has always been with us for the trodden years.

KITCHEN CUM DINING HALL

We would like to let you all know that all the Residents were in the thatched sheds all these years and recently two buildings have been completed to house the inmates. Thus all most 70% of the Residents are housed at the New Building. But still 30% of the Residents are kept in the open area. The Government is pressing hard to remove all the thatched sheds after the Kumbakonam incident. Hence, the new project of the Kitchen-Cum-Dinning is coming up where ten rooms will be constructed in the First floor of the Kitchen-Cum-Dinning for the remaining 30% of the residents and a dry kitchen for attaining self reliance in field of preparing bakery, pickle, etc is bing taken up. Hence, the Estimate of the total project tunes to Rs. 18,51,500.00 Lakhs (Kitchen-Cum-Dinning) and dry kitchen estimating to Rs. 13,93,350.00 lakhs is projected for its completion. The project is almost half way through and we are short of funds in paucity of corpus funds, we request you to kindly go through estimate and other details and help us to complete the project at an early date. We are please to let you all know that the name of the donors will be embossed the structure of the building which will not only be remembered in the history of NewLife but encourage more people to come forward for such support.

SUSTENENCE/FEEDING

Everyone will agree that a charity begins only with the top priority of eradicating hunger. At this point as Newlife is yet to build any corpus fund runs post to pillar to make the both ends meet in the field of feeding its 110 inmates. Not all days are booked by the public and thus any endowment creation will take care of the feeding without any interruption.

EDUCATION

Second but the least the education of the 60 children are being rendered by the NGO with great difficulties. Hence we appeal creation of endowments by sponsoring a child’s education up to their settling in their life after which the same will be transferred to take care of another child at Newlife.

MEDICAL(TRUST HOSPITAL)

The New Life Trust Hospital started in 2001 is humanitarian service not only for its inmates but also for the entire village. The village being at remote place and also a downtrodden village has no medical facilities up to 9 km radius. The Medical Center has visiting Doctors twice a week supplying free medical check-ups and medicines. Thus, around 150 outpatients are benefited through this Medical Center every week. For any emergency medical facilities inmates are brought to Hindu Mission Hospital where free medical facilities are given as inpatient. But medicines are purchase only in the open market. This is where again we request an APPEAL to come forward as help to cope with major diseases requiring longer and costly treatments. We appeal that any amount donated for the medical aid will be taken care for it’s 110 inmates. Any donation for endowment scheme is welcome.

THE NEW LIFE HOME
The plight of the family at New Life has to be seen to be believed. The inmates for last 15 years have been housed thatched roofs have to be periodically repaired with every rain. These thatched roofings cave in during heavy rains which does not have even doors. We have completed to construct a building to the extent of 5000 sq.feet which tunes to Rs.25 lakh, almost 60% of the new building have been built through the funds raised by NRI’s of Dubai through blood camps and the rest of the 40% building cost was born by many IT Companies and individuals. Now almost 60% of the inmates are housed in this new building and remaining 40% of it’s inmates are still under thatched huts with uncemented floors. The kitchen is also functioning under thatched sheds. Hence Newlife propose to remove all the thatched sheds as the Govt. is pressing hard to remove all this sheds after the Kumbakonam incidents. These above projects has to be completed for the efficient functioning of the NGO. Newlife appeals that the above project (Boys stay room, Kitchen cum dining and Housing the inmates) tunes to more than 25 Lakhs and it humbly appeal one and all to contribute there might for these above projects.

AMBULANCE/VAN

Even for collecting old clothes and other items in kind from public, we are spending more while hiring a tempo or van. This will also be used for the villagers who suffer during any labour pain or any serious medical attention and many a times things have gone out of our hands without timely medical help. Thus a vehicle is utmost necessary at this juncture.
We would be pleased to emboss the name of donor in the Van, which would be of publicity to the donor and this would also help us indirectly. Your help in donating a Matador / Omni Van to us will be of great help to us and this would indirectly help the Organisation to be known among the public.

LAST RITES

The last rites of the inmates are taken care by the NGO. Newlife also takes care of the unclaimed bodies in the Govt.Hoapital at sreeperumbadur and Kanchipuram and also when it gets any information of the same with in the village or its neighbouringhood. Thus we appeal that any corpus fund for performing the last rites will be very supportive and we are confident that the blessings of the soul will be with the donors who are creating and endowment in this field.
