R.NAGALKSHMI:  This is the another story of one R.Nagalakshmi(75 years) and her son Ganesan  Her husband left the family and no one knows where he is? It is a pity that she is blind and  her elder son(Ganesan) is mentally ill and of no use.(sorry) She has nothing and to totally depend on her second son for everything, He  did not want have both his mother and brother. The daily routines started becoming very painful. Also harassed by the family and finally was forced to come out with her son and nowhere to go.   At the age of 75 and with her son who can not handle himself (mentally ill) wander here and there and some had shown some concern to accommodate them temporarily and sometimes thrown out from their temporary Homes and back again in streets and finally no place to go and no one to take care. Some GOOD people who knew about NEW LIFE brought them to Eraiyur and Again NEW LIFE adopted this pair and now they are on in the family. Her son mental illness is taken care, Nagalakshmi is also treated for the blindness.  A long  way to go!!!!!!!!!

NAVAKOTTI.   - These days one could see many Old people lofting and roaming in the streets, wondering where to go? One such person is NAVAKOTTI  80 years old and almost 17 days since he left home, weak, diabetic and trembling - thirsty and hungry seeking here and there to get at least a drop of water to quench his throat and looking up for help, and his eyes pleading if someone could take care of him.  His story!! If some one could hear will make them weep. He lost his wife ten years ago and lived with his son, who had no time for his father. He always looks behind those days when he was in Plaza theatre earning a handsome salary, very comfortable had no botheration in life and always others took advantage of his wealth.  In full faith he gave all his belongings to his only son hoping that he will look after him, but fate had a different story His misfortune began, his son  died of heart attack and thereafter did not want to stay with the family and at the same time family also did not wanted him and  now ABANDONED. He left his home wandering, wandering, wandering, wandering ……………… was picked up and sent to NEW LIFECHARITABLE TRUST. His diabetics were treated, good food, shelter, were give to him and 2 years now he is part of New Life family.
